A local business, not a marketplace
Choptank Paws started with a handful of neighbors’ dogs and a lot of walks. Now it is a Maryland LLC run by our family, Crystal, Brian, and our daughter, working directly with the families it serves.
Booking direct means the person who answers your text is one of the three of us, and so is the person at your door. No rotating sitters, no app in the middle deciding who gets your dog that day, and no marketplace fee added on top of the price.
We are fully insured, woman-owned, and a military veteran family.
The wave in our paw print is a small nod to the Choptank River.

How we work
What you can count on
Safety and wellbeing first
Leash and collar checked before every walk, gates and doors checked before we leave, meds logged, water fresh. If something looks off with your pet or your house, you hear about it right away, and we do not take risks to stay on schedule.
Faces your pets know
Three of us, and you meet whoever will be in your home before they are ever there alone. Your pets learn a couple of familiar faces and one routine. So do you.
You hear from us, a lot
Photos, videos, the trail they finally conquered, the nap in the sun. As much or as little as you want, sent before we leave the driveway.
Plain pricing
Agreed in writing before the first visit and paid ahead, so your time is held. No weekend fees and no marketplace markup. Feeding, meds, play, yard pickup, and mail and trash come with the visit; the few extras we do charge are listed on the Services page.
