Choptank Paws Recall Watch keeps a list of your pet’s food, treats, medications, and gear, checks it against new recalls every day, and emails you if something matches. It is free for Choptank Paws clients.
How it works
Four steps, then we keep watch for you
Get your code
Ask Crystal at your meet and greet or any visit. Each client gets a personal invite code.
Add what your pet uses
Type in the brand and product, or snap a photo of the bag or label and we fill it in. Up to 25 items.
We keep watch
Every day we check new FDA pet food and animal health recalls and CPSC product recalls against your list.
You hear from us
If something matches, you get an email with the official notice. On Sundays, a short summary, or an all clear.
Good to know
What it covers
Sources. Pet food, treat, supplement, and animal drug recalls from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, plus product recalls from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission for toys, beds, and gear.
Your list. Up to 25 items and 5 photo lookups a month. Typing items in is always unlimited within your list.
Privacy. Photos are used only to read the label and are not kept. Your list is private to you. We never sell or share it.
Who can join. Current Choptank Paws clients, by invite code. There is no charge.
Recall Watch is a courtesy. Alerts can be delayed or miss a recall, and a match is a prompt to check. The official FDA or CPSC notice is always the final word, and your vet is the right call if your pet seems unwell.
